Red Burgundy Onion

Short Day – This low-maintenance variety won’t require special attention in order to grow well. Slightly spicier than other red onions. Color is a deep reddish-purple, the size of bulbs can be expected to be around 3-4″ when fully matured. Harvest early for a more intense flavor. Best variety for eating raw in salads and sandwiches, or lightly sauteed in stir-frys.
