Winter – This variety is a pink, banana-style squash with a distinctive greenish’ blueish blossom end mark. They are formed on 8-10 foot vines and can easily grow to be 10-15 pounds each. Once roasted, they have the highest sugar content of any winter squash, and their stringless creamy flesh is excellent for making pies, baking, or frying.
