Ocimum basilicum. As the name suggests, the Mammoth is the largest basil variety. This bushing herb grows leaves that resemble lettuce leaves with a strong flavor perfect for sauces, pesto, and sandwiches. Remove flowers on this variety to promote larger leaf growth.
